How do you fix the error code 51420 on a Nintendo Wii?

The Wii Error Code 51420 is a problem with the Wii's internet connection. This error code is caused by the Wii not being able to connect to the internet. The Wii Error Code 51420 can be fixed by connecting the Wii to the internet using a different method.

1. Check your router's settings and make sure your Wii is properly configured to connect to the internet

  1. Navigate to your router's admin panel and enter your router's IP address into your browser.
  2. Click on the "WLAN" tab and make sure that the "Enable WPA" and "Enable WEP" checkboxes are both checked.
  3. Click on the "Wireless Security" button and make sure that the "WPA SSID" and "WPA Key" fields are filled in with your router's network name and security key, respectively.
  4. Click on the "Save Settings" button to save your changes.
  5. Restart your router for the changes to take effect.
  6. Click on your Wii's home screen and enter your Wii's IP address into your browser.
  7. Click on the "Wii Settings" button and make sure that the "Connection Type" field is set to "DHCP."
  8. Click on the "Internet Connection" button and make sure that the "Use the following IP address" field is set to "192.168.1.254."
  9. Click on the "OK" button to close the Wii Settings window.
  10. Click on your Wii's home screen and enter your Wii's IP address into your browser.
  11. Click on the "Wii Settings" button and make sure that the "Connection Type" field is set to "Static."
  12. Click on the "Internet Connection" button and make sure that the "Use the following IP address" field is set to "192.168.1.254."
  13. Click on the "OK" button to close the Wii Settings window.
  14. Click on the "Wii System" button and make sure that the "System Information" tab is displayed.
  15. Click on the "Connection" button and make sure that the "Connection Status" field displays "Connected."
  16. If the "Connection Status" field displays "Not Connected," please follow the instructions in the "Fixing Wii Error Code 51420" section below.

2. Try connecting your Wii to the internet using a different method

  1. Make sure that your Wii is turned on and connected to the internet using a wired or wireless connection.
  2. Scroll to the "Wii System Settings" menu and select "Internet Connection Settings."
  3. If your Wii is connected to the internet using a wired connection, select "Use a wired connection." If your Wii is connected to the internet using a wireless connection, select "Use a wireless connection."
  4. Select "Configure" and enter your Wii's IP address.
  5. If your Wii is connected to the internet using a wired connection, select "Use a wired connection." If your Wii is connected to the internet using a wireless connection, select "Use a wireless connection (WPS)."
  6. If your Wii is connected to the internet using a wireless connection (WPS), press the WPS button on your Wii controller and press the "Connect" button on your router.
  7. Enter your Wii's user name and password.
  8. Select "Apply" and your Wii will connect to the internet.

3. If you're using a wireless router, try moving the router closer to your Wii
