YouTube error 429 is a "Too Many Requests" error code. This error code is usually caused by a user making too many requests in a short amount of time.

1. Clear your browser's cookies and cache

  1. In your browser, go to "Tools" and then "Internet Options."
  2. On the "General" tab, under "History" click on the "Delete" button.
  3. Under "Temporary Internet Files" click on the "Delete" button.
  4. Click on the "OK" button to close the Internet Options window.
  5. Restart your browser.
  6. If the error still persists, try clearing your browser's cookies and cache again.

2. Update your browser

  1. Click on the "gear" icon
  2. Select "Internet Options" from the menu
  3. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  4. Under the "Privacy" heading, click on the "Advanced" button
  5. Under the "Security" heading, click on the "Settings" button
  6. Under the "Content" heading, click on the "Update Now" button
  7. If you are asked to confirm your choice, click on the "Yes" button
  8. Restart your computer if prompted to do so

3. Try using a different browser

  1. Open your web browser and type "www.youtube.com" into the address bar.
  2. If you are using a desktop computer, click on the YouTube icon that is displayed in your web browser.
  3. If you are using a mobile phone, tap on the YouTube app icon and then search for "www.youtube.com".
  4. If you are using a tablet, open the YouTube app and tap on the three lines in the top left corner.
  5. If you are using a Chromebook, open the Chrome web browser and type "www.youtube.com" into the address bar.
  6. If you are using a different web browser, click on the YouTube icon that is displayed in your web browser.
  7. If you are using a desktop computer, click on the video that you want to watch.
  8. If you are using a mobile phone, tap on the video that you want to watch and then wait for the video to start playing.
  9. If you are using a tablet, open the video that you want to watch.
  10. If you are using a Chromebook, open the video that you want to watch and then click on the "play" button.

4. Reset your modem or router

The first step would be to locate your modem or router. Once you have located it, you would need to power it off and then power it back on. Next, you would need to locate the reset button on your modem or router. Once you have located the reset button, you would need to press it in order to reset the device. Finally, you would need to reboot your computer in order to complete the reset process.
