The wback7917 error code is a Windows error code that indicates a problem with the Windows firewall. 1. Restart your computer

  14. Restart your computer

  19. Restart your computer
  20. When your computer restarts, select the Device Manager tab and then click on the Update Driver button

  22. Click on the OK button to close the Driver Properties window
  23. Click on the OK button to close the Device Manager window
  24. Restart your computer
  25. When your computer restarts, select the Device Manager tab and then click on the Update Driver button
  26. In the Driver File selection window, select the driver file that you downloaded from the Microsoft website
  27. Click on the OK button to close the Driver Properties window
  28. Click on the OK button to close the Device Manager window
  29. Restart your computer
  30. When your computer restarts, Windows should now have detected the new driver and installed it. If not, try reinstalling the driver from the Microsoft website.

3. Reinstall your drivers

  1. Right-click on the device that is giving you the error code and select "Update Driver".
  2. Click on "Browse My Computer for Driver Software".
  3. Locate the driver file for your device and click on it to install it.
  4. Close Device Manager.
  5. Reboot your computer.

4. Run a virus scan

  1. Download and install the appropriate antivirus software.
  2. Open the antivirus software and click on the “Scan” button.
  3. Select the “Scan for viruses” option and click on the “Start” button.
  4. The virus scan will start and the antivirus software will show the error code wback7917.
  5. If the error code is detected, then the antivirus software will show the steps that need to be taken to fix the error code.

5. Run a malware scan
